If it drifts close to 1 then delisting could become a major concern. I'm thinking that probably won't happen this year though unless it is mostly crickets with no interesting announcments
The company announcement in July on Telcordia averted continued decline - the 'disaster' scenario.

I called the removal from Russel against the longs who said it would never happen but there was no immediate price effect -- it was a coordinated sale on the day of removal. The coordinated sale (ie some 9 million shares were sold by the instututions without changing the price) did surprise me, but continued lack of news + removal from Russell was indeed a disaster scenario due to the sentiment effect:
The removal from the index showed that the longs had said for the last 4 years that the institutions were somehow coordinating to own 50% of the stock --- showed how clueless X and others who agreed with him were about institutional interest. THAT reality was not going to be good for sentiment. Telcordia news saved the company - and shareholders - from a potential delisting.
