Walter, your post today confused me because you told the board you would prove the PR wasn’t about Nokia, and then you didn’t provide that proof. All I did was point out that you made a commitment and didn’t follow through — that’s not hypocrisy on my part.
When you later said you couldn’t reveal your source, I acknowledged that was your choice and that your frustration was understandable. The reason I said you should be embarrassed is that you escalated that issue pretty aggressively while criticizing me, and then didn’t follow through after all.
My point was simply that making claims that can’t be verified leaves everyone stuck.
I haven’t promised anything I failed to do, so I don’t see how hypocrisy applies here.
I don’t hold anything against you, and I understand now why sharing your source ended up being problematic for you. I think - and you may agree - that the source is very wrong to take the position that they do, although I understand why they do so.
In any case, it’s not worth further argument.
