Pffft! So stupidly WRONG as usual, jimmy. LOL!

Elon STILL has no idea what he's talking about. He's NOT a genius, he's NOT a rocket scientist, he's NOT even an engineer! Which, by the way, his engineers told him not using LiDAR was a bad idea, but his gigantic ego got in the way and now Teslas can NOT achieve level 4 or 5 autonomy because of it.

lidar doesn’t work and Elon knew it wasn’t the answer

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is a key technology for autonomous vehicles because it provides precise 3D mapping, accurate distance measurement, and performs in various conditions (even in direct sunlight), enabling real-time obstacle detection, navigation, and critical decision-making that other sensors like cameras miss.

What Lidar Is and Why It’s Important for Autonomous Vehicles:

And it's NOT a single company, dummy!

You're idiotically thinking of Luminar Technologies a lidar manufacturer who recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, just one of thousands of LiDAR companies that exist.

lidar filed bankruptcy this week

And Volvo dropped LiDAR from its upcoming EX90 and ES90 models, because it ended its partnership with supplier Luminar due to supply chain risks and Luminar's failure to meet obligations, NOT because it doesn't work, dimwit.

Volvo figured it out and dropped it.

Tesla’s self-driving capabilities are now a Looney Tunes cartoon joke
Embracing cameras over lidar has proven to be a major hurdle for Tesla’s self-driving dreams.
