Well, that was a tad insensitive, don't you think.

after all it's the inside that counts and in a sense makeup camouflages that.

Makeup, as with much of physical accessories used by men and women are not always about looking good for you, but for making themselves feel good about themselves. As in confidence and self respect.

In a society where people do and say things as only a way to reflect back from peoples reactions for their own ego's, many people also use physical art for self.

Makeup, including tatoo's can be art and self expression.

Understood that makeup is a happy medium, it just i'm not a real fan of it. lol,

Ahhhh, women do not dress or choose makeup to please men. If we did, most of us would look like streetwalkers. Some men have good taste in women's clothes--my father was one--but most don't. When they're young, they mostly think "sexy" is good. When they're older, if they have sense, they don't discuss the issue any longer.

We do clothes and makeup for ourselves.
