David Goldberger joined Anavex Life Sciences as Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs on November 6, 2023. He brought over 40 years of experience in pharmacy and pharmaceuticals, including leading regulatory efforts for CNS products at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization. At Anavex, he oversaw regulatory activities, such as initiating the submission of oral blarcamesine for Alzheimer's disease to the European Medicines Agency in November 2023.He left Anavex in April 2024 and joined Bausch Health Companies Inc. as Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs starting in May 2024, where he continues to work as of November 2025. There are no public announcements or reports indicating any issues with his departure from Anavex—it appears to have been a standard career move.
