Happy holiday as well, to you and your family, Steve.
Of course we know looking at the very short time frame charts should be for entries and exits. I was making a general comment about watching price action . I think we are sensing the same thing about this current picture. And what could develop in these next critical weeks, with the next news and how price reacts, and we don’t know what that news will be, positive or negative, mildly negative or positive, and then how strongly would the short attack spin managers try to attack the news, like we always see them do to AVXL. We could see positive news happen and the shorting gamers twist it negatively with a hit piece, which stifles a rally and might even send the price down. And this manipulation can happen for the entire 3 or 4 month period.
This time in the life cycle and development of the investment seems like it might be the most critical time in these last 14 years. And how it looks now, after such a major sell down, to 3 dollars, from 7/6.50 … it didn’t even pause at the 5 dollar support zone. This acted like a slam to the Extreme Bottom. There’s a lot we can brainstorm about analyzing this. Probably better to discuss in my TA forum .
I don’t mind buying shares here at 3 dollars, but we have to be careful in case the selling powers are still able and intend to push it down to 2.00-2.40. In the next few weeks. Then the December news comes, this whole time period will be tricky to navigate. My basic target zones to buy are (small lots, carefully planned, constant monitoring of the price action, as it aims towards 3.00, then 2.50 area, 2.40/2.30 area, 2.25. But it’s also about the way the price action moves, how it gyrates, up and down, how it behaves at resistance and how it rolls over and tumbles down to support. It’s a learned skill to understand what you’re seeing when watching the 1 minute and 5 minute price action. Do you know about the famous trader, Jesse Livermore? He developed his skills as a price board number changer on the exchange trading floor in the early 1900’s. Interesting book.
