What then follows is Soumit congratulating DM on “all the progress” and then asking some softball questions which provide minimal clarity to the company’s strategic plans. After 10 years of attracting few new analysts, one would think DM would try a different approach to attract more interest in the company. I also dispute DM’s claim that the company has been transparent with shareholders. The one and only in-person interaction we could have this past year, the Annual Meeting, was relegated to a live-streaming event this year—very cowardly on Missling’s part.

Agree. Mayo or whomever needs to really press him for specifics, not accept a bunch of blather. Ask the questions like an attorney, hone in on the details. It is pretty clear that Wall Street thinks Missling is a flake, not a serious CEO. He must present a strong clear path forward to change that.
