We knew that Nokia was working with Polariton for a couple years using lightwaves polymer.
We were told in May that their goal for 2025 was to have 3 to 5 partners in stage 3 and that Polariton was one of them.
The announcement last week was not about Nokia that has been verified. But I've been unable to verify if Nokia is working directly with Lightwaves polymer on devices that are not Polariton. As versatile as the polymer is, it would make perfect sense that they are testing it on other devices such as a Micro Ring Resonater. We know Nvidia needs that. Waiting on atleast 1 more announcement this year and I'm sure that partner will go unnamed as well. We can all speculate but the fact of the matter is they do not want the competition knowing how they are speeding up the devices using less power.
This is pretty much out of retailers hands now, the institutions will control it.
I still expect some sort of takeover attempt from one or more parties, they are always fun, the stock price chart will look like a stair step as each party counters and rumors fly.
The shorts were told to cover at a buck as Lightwave was brining on talent. Some listened, some didn't. They will not go down without a fight but I think the momentum from the demand created by AI will overwhelm them.
Tick tock only 6 weeks left in the year, up down, round and round.
