JRoon, you are correct, and it seems this predates Strength.  So this started long before any data from Strength.  A Canadian company Ocean Nutrition was supplying their product for this.

Recruitment occurred over a 5-year period, starting with the first patient randomized on November 28, 2013, and completed enrollment by August 2019. The results were recently published in November 2025.

After enrollment was completed , the trial ran for 3.5 yrs .

Patient Population:
The PISCES trial focused on an extremely high-risk population (dialysis patients), where standard cardiovascular interventions often have limited efficacy.
The STRENGTH trial focused on high-risk individuals with residual hypertriglyceridemia, a broader population.
