L Liau simply does not bother to differentiate in these details in casual statements.

It is not unreasonable in her perspective to consider both "about the same" (or "equivalent to" as stated on the UCLA website). And they are about the same, no argument, Just like Keytruda and Opdivo are about the same. To a patient, that is all that matters. To the RAs....

And she may very consider herself part of "us": with NWBO as she has been involved with the program for 2 decades.
