Lots to unpack in today meeting in Austin. Semi next year is great. Robotaxi will explode. I still think Optimus is pushed back iinto 2027 but when it starts, it will explode. I am holding out on replacing my Model Y until the new AI5 chip is in it. Should wait for AI 6, but I am already so far behind with AI chiip 3.
Glad the pay package got passed, as someone said earlier without Elon Tesla is toast. very low risk decision. I dont se any of the milestones being hit , may be $2T at some point if they can monetize xAA as part of Tesla. EV and robotai business stalling Optimus late many competitors including BVDIA already shipping, no Unique selling point Not sure what Cathy and others see as far as really big businesses. They may well get released but the headstart advantage that the cars had is not there.
So board signed the deal to keep him but very unlikely they have t pay anything and if they do - it means I am wrong about the market for robotaxi and or humanoid robots
