Only a matter of time before menus contain a Ozempic and Wegovy section with selections and portion sizes suitable for those patients. Might even appeal to diet conscious non-patients. First mover restaurants may find themselves in local TV interviews.

I would love to see smaller portions offered. The meals I order out are so large that they can generally make 3 meals for me.

I think the guy talking about the ambiance and decor is a little off. Yes, I want to be comfortable sitting, the noise level at a minimum, decent service and good food. But I never choose or go back to a restaurant based on the ambiance.

A casual gym acquaintance is a retired NYC high school principal maybe in his early 70s.

He had been VERY large, but I ran into him last weekend and I hardly recognized him. He was probably down 50+ pounds in a month or two. I'm always afraid to ask about weight loss because you never know if it might caused by illness, but I'm speculating that he is on one of the weight loss drugs.

A business colleague (who never got the Covid shot even though his wife worked as an RN in an ER that was inundated with Covid patients) told me last week that he was on Wegovy. I was ever at his office approaching lunch time he offer to pick up lunch for me and the small staff at a nearby organic supermarket. They have salads and relatively healthy sandwiches...tasty stuff. Inevitably he would return one bag from the organic place and a second bag from the Wendy's next door just for himself.

He says he is down 35 pounds with another 100 to go.
