Professor Ashkan will present on DCVax, a precision personalised immune
therapy for brain tumours. He will address the exceptionally comprehensive
review by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency
(MRHA) ahead of market authorisation that has been ongoing for over a year.
“The review process is expected to conclude in the next couple of months,
and the brain tumour community anxiously looks forward to the outcome given
the extremely poor patient prognosis and the lack of meaningful progress in the
field for the past 20 years.
