Correct...which is what is going on in this Country currently(and others) that for some stupid reason-people are protesting such. I can not for the life of me understand that. And again...there is no possibility for an invasion to be legal or illegal. So if the invasion of Ukraine is illegal....why wasn't it stopped in 2014 by the UN? Or why wasn't it stopped in February of 2022? The reason is that such is merely a misnomer.

Which is apparently how many lawmakers and fools think regarding our illegal immigrant situation. So again I ask...do you really think such is illegal given the nonsense spewed here and abroad? Do you understand why I am poking you with this now? :)

It seems that misnomers are staus quo in this Nation and globally...eh?

Article 51

Measures taken by Members in the exercise of this right of self-defence shall be immediately reported to the Security Council and shall not in any way affect the authority and responsibility of the Security Council under the present Charter to take at any time such action as it deems necessary in order to maintain or restore international peace and security.

This is why an invasion is neither legal or illegal by UN standards. It's a cop out and nullification of the law itself.
