In your original post you said:

An MA is valid for 5 years and a CMA 1 year.

A MA is valid indefinitely. A CMA can be renewed annually and if converted to MA, after 5 years (from CMA grant) it will be valid indefinitely.

All assuming no issues are reported to change approval status.
