rick25, you're right, we have no idea what that Healthnet settle was as it never seemed to move the needle. However, (1) Amarin needs the court win against Hikma to get the generic patents thrown out. Then they will have the original market they should have had for the past five years. A settlement would only take Hikma out of the picture leaving the other generics to fill the void. (2) A huge settlement would be good as well, although it could take years to work through appeals, but having a potential $1B+ award would be nice for a potential buyer of Amarin.
Sarissa (AD) is a very different management group from the past Amarin leadership and will play this much different.
