Because schizophrenia isn't AD and would have immediate noticeable results if the drug actually worked. The trial would have been longer if Anavex believed if it would take longer.

Do you know if there is any open table extension of the schizophrenic P2 trial? Seems this would be a good chance to test the increased time hypothesis, assuming there is some information on the base treatment over time.
