I hope all of this will make sense once—or if—the RSV deal is announced. If this secondary is indeed tied to preparing for a specific RSV structure, it suggests they may be getting close to one. The amount is not enough to do solo so they still need a deal.
Otherwise, the raise could simply be defensive, and perhaps overly so.
