Mine was 1.3 in 2019. Four years ago photos taken by my OD showed AMD. Been taking PreserVision since then as well as Vascepa starting before that. Photos from this week's appointment (different OD) still showed AMD but I don't know how much change. Also have cataracts which have likely worsened over that time so hard to separate the variables. Have referral to ophthalmologist so will see what they say. New treatment called Red Light Therapy that shows regegression of AMD is now approved by FDA and available. Not paid by Medicare yet so $6,000. Really surprised there hasn't been a follow up study to. MADEOS. Unfortunately probably because no incentive to fund it because no money in it for Pharma.
