I said that it wouldn’t surprise me if Northwest Bio acquired Advent and brought manufacturing in-house to keep the price as low as possible.

Please explain why NWBO purchasing Advent would have any impact on pricing or manufacturing costs.

So what do you think was the purpose of setting up a separate private CDMO operation in the first place?

Agreed... the MAA procedure does note this, and the time this takes could yet take longer and there may still be a valid explanation for it. I probably should have noted that in my post.

In exceptional cases, we may agree to extend the clock-stop period beyond 6 months.
In exceptional cases, we may agree to extend the clock-stop period beyond 3 months.

Overall, though, the point of that timeline exercise was to see approximately how far the application could go without being considered "backlogged" on the part of the MHRA or Northwest.

Speaking of the wording in the recent PR, this line stood out to me.

The consideration for the acquisition will be paid in installments over two years, beginning 90 days after the acquisition agreement, with potential acceleration after regulatory approval of the Company’s DCVax®-L product.

I'd argue that if the company felt the "regulatory approval" was "potential", the word should have been placed in front of "regulatory approval" instead of in front of "acceleration". As it reads, it implies that Northwest may accelerate installment payments to Advent (LP, lol) "when" Northwest receives regulatory approval... not "if" it receives regulatory approval.

Given that Northwest has been so hyper aware of how they state anything having to do with their interactions with the MHRA and the MAA, I'd have thought that the company might have worded that phrase more carefully such as:

The consideration for the acquisition will be paid in installments over two years, beginning 90 days after the acquisition agreement, with potential acceleration after a possible regulatory approval of the Company’s DCVax®-L product.

I should note that google or apple's AI disagreed with me, and felt that the word "potential" could apply to both speeding up the payments and regulatory approval. And I disagree with AI's assessment. Perhaps it's just what I'd consider a bit of a sloppy mistake rolled out from a Freudian slip.

So I guess you have no answer to this question?
