Perkinaine needs to be examined using the scanning transmission electron microscope. That's the results I want to see. Maybe it's been done already? If so where are the results? Nice post by the way. Thank You

The partnership will allow OpenAI to build and deploy AI data centers using millions of Nvidia 's GPUs
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Monday that the company plans to deploy 10 gigawatts of power to support OpenAI.
Nvidia Corp. is preparing to deploy millions of its graphics processing units in artificial-intelligence data centers as part of its latest multibillion-dollar investment.
The chip maker said Monday that it intends to support OpenAI's next-generation AI infrastructure for training and running upcoming models by providing at least 10 gigawatts of its systems. That translates to millions of its chips, according to the company.
Nvidia (NVDA) also intends to invest up to $100 billion in the AI startup as its systems are rolled out, including for data-center and power capacity. The details of the what it is calling a strategic partnership have yet to be finalized, Nvidia said, but the companies are targeting the first phase to come online during the second half of next year using the chip maker's upcoming Rubin AI platform.
"This investment and infrastructure partnership mark the next leap forward - deploying 10 gigawatts to power the next era of intelligence," Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang said in a statement.
Shares of Nvidia were up 3.6% on Monday afternoon following the announcement.

Great summary x, thanks for sharing!

That is a big deal because now the modulator can be placed inside the GPU.

Until recently the likes of NVDA have resisted this move but Jenson stated at the last GTC conference they are now forced to move in this direction.

During that mid day report on CNBC the other day with Jensen and OpenAI's Sam Altman, Jensen said this deal alone with OpenAI will require 4-5 million GPU's, more than they shipped all of last year combined. Difficult to even wrap your head around it...the catch is there is not (yet) enough available power from grid to power the project, meaning any available technology that can reduce consumption will be (must be) considered in order to make the project viable.

From CNBC 2hrs ago...

Some questions that investors appeared to be asking: Where’s all that power needed to keep the data centers running — approximately the output of 17 nuclear plants — going to come from?
