It's not a back door. You're supposed to be happy to welcome your major appliances to your internet family. The fridge will help you with shopping lists, because apparently it doesn't believe you can keep a list on your phone by yourself. It'll help you put photos of your kids on its screen. It'll think you're an idiot, and steal your money.
And it'll probably remind you to condition your cutting board, as you would your hair.

Rochelle compares her cutting board to her own dry and fragile hair. I'm sure we should all do the same. You'll be appalled to realize I don't condition mine at all. The cutting board; naturally I do condition my hair, though I do not use the kind of hair mask Rochelle recommends. We should apparently treat our cutting boards with mineral oil once a week, realizing it'll get "dry and dull" anyway. That's when you use the mask, leaving it on overnight.

I dunno. I don't have a fancy $250 cutting board. For me, the most important thing quality a cutting board should have is size. I did once have some mineral oil, but never used it. And yet the boards I normally use do not look dry, like Rochelle's, and they aren't warped. One is what I'd call "regular wood", and the other is bamboo. Oddly, I've noticed that the bamboo board is very resistant to stains. Even though I don't clean it very vigorously. Not every day, either.
I do not think I shall be buying the mask. Rochelle would be disappointed. But then probably she's paid something by Boos for the kind words. She also writes romance novels. So...
