Always remember Tennessee is a right to work state.

Please keep your union past to yourself. Also remember when you hire anyone to perform a task, especially in your home, be very careful.

My newest neighbor, that Marine is a Master Electrician from New York, a union man, and if you ask him his opinion of electricity or even plumbing he will remind you that in Tennessee they are not very good at their crafts.

Even worse on a personal note be careful with your windows in your home. My home was built in 1995, and the windows truly suck, and they have not gotten much better. You are also in the south, there are many unlicensed contractors out there so be careful. Never pay upfront for anything, and always remain skeptical when getting something done. You will blend in, just take your time learning. It pays to keep your northern attitude to yourself, but it will not matter, many will automically know you are not from around here.

She had a good lawyer who fucked you over pretty good.
The question, and it's none of my business but did your conduct really qualify for your penalty.
I don't know if you had kids together.
