You wrote that progress in discovery can support the stock price. I disagree. The company believes that settlements in the hundreds of millions of dollars could come of this trial. That may or may not be true, but that's an extreme belief with an open-ended date, i.e., could still be years off. And while a near $100M settlement might move the stock a little if and when it comes, that's less than a dime a share even if it does. This is, of its very nature, a 'show me the money' item. Namely, until you have a settlement, you don't have a damn thing, except in the mind of die-hard longs. I'm obviously not bashing anybody by saying that, only imo that's a hard fact we can't get around, even if Posner should have a lot of cred for having gotten a $B range settlement in the past. It's JMO that this isn't even worth arguing about.

BTW, I doubt very much that the company is ever going to PR anything they find in discovery. It's nothing until if and when they do get a settlement. Now if they do ever get a large settlement from one MM then only we're talking, and the market might extrapolate that to expect more large settlements from other MMs. But until they actually hit any pay dirt with this, they haven't got bupkis.

For the stock price, the positive angle is:
It strengthens investor confidence that NWBO’s legal case is real, serious, and progressing.
Shorts who manipulated may face greater risk exposure.
As confidence builds, the stock could re-rate upward, especially when discovery later uncovers hard evidence of spoofing.
