NASDAQ has three main market tiers 1) Global Select, 2) Global Market, and 3) Capital Market
1) $4 minimum bid price (exceptions allow $3 for certain IPOs if other standards are stronger).
2) Minimum $4 bid price (again, some exceptions for IPOs).
3) Minimum $4 bid price, but in some IPO cases companies can qualify at $3 or even $2 with stronger assets/equity.
Ongoing Listing Requirements (for all 3 tiers) is the only reference to $1 as the
Bid price: Can’t fall below $1.00 for more than 30 consecutive business days (otherwise company risks delisting).
