I know very little about these sorts of things

But my gut wants to say this is a good thing, as it clears up a lot of issues that we've all had over the years with the Advent debacle.

But, what are the downsides to this? If any?

dd — here are my thoughts: To play it safe, LP may have kept Advent BioServices under a separate entity. Now that approval seems like a done deal, she likely wants to merge them so the combined team can handle everything post-approval more efficiently.

I dont think this is a sinking ship bailout because 1.4mm is peanuts in the grand scheme. I am actually upbeat for the first time in 3-4 years

The company will not be acquired, IMO. They will partner with a reputable BP.
