It was used in my electroplating hobby a 100 years ago. Got two - 1 gallon glass bottles of HCI for cheap. It was the electrolyte bath for copper and stuff. Mixed with blue crystals stuff that is used to clean drain pipes normally. Wicked stuff. I have my magnetic plastic car signs for my biz on my bar wall. Also did gold plating for jewelry with a smaller unit.
I still remember the name.. Warner Electric sold the home electroplating kit.
LOL at times he could have felt like it, but i said it was very diluted. I know, i've seen it steam while rubber gloved-up using it to clean brick walls. Was one chore when working as a labor in building construction.
