LOL well done, saw that on a search too, but it wasn't the acid. 100% it was either dilute hydrochloric or sulphuric used back then, and come to think of it now i could have asked where he got it from and it could have been at a drugstore, but wasn't sold as a solution to use for chapped lips.
LOLOLOL!! Sulfuric acid and hyaluronic acid are TOTALLY different. Hyaluronic acid is, as far as I know, completely harmless. Nowadays--it's only been a big thing in the past three or four years--it's used in a lot of cosmetics. It hydrates dramatically. Probably this from Burt's Bees would work on really dry lips:
