I'm with you on the content thing. I don't understand all that, nor do I care to but I steal a lot of memes. I don't give them thumbs up, I just repost them.
I grew up in the video game boom. Pac-Man was all the rage and that and a lot of other games were hitting hard. There was a pattern to Pac-Man and once it was learned you could play that game for hours on end for just a quarter but the fun was gone, no thrill of the chase anymore. Just running the pattern until it got really boring.The same with others.
I wasn't a hard core gamer but there were others that taught me if you pushed the controls in the right directions you could unlock certain features within the games that no others knew about. It was just another way of being a lazy American and cheating to beat the system.
I can solve a Rubik's Cube too. Not any of that record breaking speed nonsense but trial and error until I can get to a familiar pattern that I can take home. I learned that on my own and though I haven't tried in quite awhile, I probably still could do it. I don't have to rely on AI to tell me how but it probably would if I asked.
That's my concern with the whole thing.
