You left out the part about taking thousands of shareholders' hard-earned dollars and turning them into pennies, all while making himself a millionaire many times over. Oh, yeah, and then there's the part about all the lying. Don't forget that.

There is a lot to learn from this post. Many thanks for posting. None of us is perfect and many on this board relished highlighting Les' shortcomings in the last couple of years. I prefer to acknowledge Les' efforts described here and to thank his force in demanding success.

Thanks ILT for such a great write up about Les Goldman, the Man we all love so much. He is quite a man of great achievements. He is always David. Yes, make no mistake—this NWBO journey with Les that I know of has always been a David vs. Goliath fight. Wall Street’s Goliath came armed with billions, smear campaigns, and naked shorting. But Les Goldman stood tall as David—unyielding, fearless, and relentless. His weapon was conviction, his shield was truth, and his aim was precise. He showed us that giants fall when you refuse to bow.
Now it’s our turn to carry the sling. We don’t fight with fear—we fight with patience, courage, and the knowledge that history favors the determined. The Goliaths may look powerful, but they are stumbling. David already showed us the way forward—now we finish what he started.

Andrew, thank you for bringing us this tremendous biography of our Les Goldman. I knew he had a vast background, but didn't realize just how vast and significant it was. We were so, so very fortunate to have him as long as we did!!
Now we need to finish what Les and the NWBO team have built!

Most small biotechs would have accepted defeat. Goldman chose to fight. In December 2022, Northwest filed suit against seven of the most powerful firms in finance, including Citadel Securities and Virtu Americas. The complaint alleged a multi-year campaign that forced the company to issue nearly fifty million shares at artificially depressed prices.

For a small biotech to challenge Wall Street titans was almost unheard of. Yet Goldman saw it as the same fight he had waged all his life: defending the fragile against forces that could destroy it. In March 2025, a federal judge allowed the core allegations to proceed. It was not yet victory, but it was survival. The case moved forward. And with it, the principle that patients’ hope should not be trampled by manipulation

My hope is to live long enough to not only see these criminals fined millions but to also see them marched into prison wearing orange apparel.

ILT, thank you for the excellent biography of Mr. Goldman. I learned much I did not know before of his very extensive and substantial legal history and his many untouted accomplishments. In my many phone calls with him, he never mentioned his very long list of accomplishments. He always concentrated on the job at hand. I knew that he was a partner at Skadden Arp one of the largest and foremost firms in the US but I knew nothing of the detail of his many prior accomplishments. He was humble to the end, and worked quietly in the background to keep things going. When DCVAX gets approved shortly, many cancer patients will owe a debt of gratitude to him for having enabled this treatment to reach them. May this be a major solace to his family, friends and coworkers, as he is laid to rest.
