If one would apply just a little bit of reasoning, one might come to the conclusion that these projected trial starts were based on the hope/belief that approval would happen within the 150-day accelerated MHRA review schedule.... which would enable the company to begin the commercialization that would provide the funds to support the trials. Unfortunately, that didn't happen (MHRA has taken much longer to review the MAA than expected) and, as a result, the additional trials have been delayed. Pretty simple reasoning, really. The company made no "promises", only anticipatory projections. Your use of "promises" is just another smear tactic by the usual suspects.

The company has made several promises regarding the restart of trials and adherence to timelines, but has failed to meet these commitments. For example, NWBO announced plans to restart direct trials and combination trials, but as of August 2025, these trials have not commenced, leading to questions about the company's ability to execute its plans effectively.
