Thanks all, my problem is all about pain at this point, fortunately it's pain, not an illness, but getting the medical system to function as it should has been a nightmare thus far. The Drs. involved at Cedar Sinai Spinal Center involved with both surgery and pain management all agree an MRI is needed in order to determine the proper course of action. Still looking at some possibilities, but if nothing else pans out I'll probably try the Emergency Room approach. I hate to think that an Emergency Room is the proper approach, but if all else fails, I'll give it a try.
