You’re right, and I owe an apology, that was my mistake. I carried over the “pulsed with autologous tumor lysate” language from DCVax-L out of habit, and it doesn’t apply to DCVax-Direct.
Direct uses dendritic cells collected by leukapheresis, kept in a partially activated, unloaded state, and then injected into the tumor to pick up antigens in situ. I should have double-checked my wording before posting and kept the two product descriptions separate.
