Spartex, the Tier 1's Yves is looking to move to Stage 3 are involved in these aspects of Phase 2 currently

-Supply customer with
process design kit (PDK)

- Support modulator design
activities

- Interface with foundry to
enable material integration

- Support product reliability

Once Yves announces a move to Stage 3 the accelerated time for Stage 3 is about 8 to 13 months, so it's possible for Tier 1's to be ready to move to Production ramp in late 2026 if everything works out, this is the best-case scenario, and Yves gave the most conservative case scenario on his timeline which is 12 to 18 months where the move to Production ramp would come in 2027

One more exciting detail is that these T1’s clearly have their own wafer manufacturing in house since they can turn around wafers to us in a couple months rather than waiting 6 months for GF or Intel.

So the testing feedback loop is much quicker than in the past when we were doing it all on our own with AMF
