Thats easy, the Tesla is more apt to kill you because of their tendency to go out of control, suffer sudden uncontrolled acceleration, and veer off course. There is something seriously wrong with Teslas lane assist feature that it can suddenly veer off course. Case in point:

The driver, a Westminster, California, resident, was driving using the Tesla’s cruise control and lane assistance features, Anderson said.
Those are autopilot features but you can engage adaptive cruise control without AP enabled. Isnt lane assist part of AP however? Regardless, how did the lane assist fail so badly as to suddenly veer into a guardrail?
