The trial was properly sized and it is in process for approval.

The distinction between the subgroups wasn't known at the time the trial was designed. It is the results of the trial that discovered the different response rate of the sub-groups.

The trial also showed that the mutant type still has a 25% reduced progression rate which is more than enough for approval . Remember this is being compared to the current SOC.
