I don't think he is going to match tariffs....And you may look up specifics on duties, tariffs and regulations throughout the world..........

I also believe as the smoke clears tariffs on things like coffee or coco etc will be exempt in some fashion.....Exceptions were made with Japan, the UK and the EU to meet some of their needs...

But over all I think they are looking at 15% across the board with exceptions like minerals and industry where they are going to force the hand on reshoring...

So I don't care what the wto thinks....Nor dems at this point, the last three dem presidents were free traders.....And if dems don't like the way its being done, they should have done it themselves.......But they weren't going to renegotiate squat...

So we take the bad with the good

it doesn't jibe with your 'defend Trump trade policy' does it. And some countries had higher import
tariffs than America did, but not all, yet Trump has slapped a cross the board 10% tariff on.
And some countries had lower tariffs on some goods than the US itself had...

Key Points

* Trump’s suspension of “reciprocal” tariffs will end on Friday, which means the world could face higher tariffs once again.

* The U.S. has managed to make only eight deals in 120 days, including one with the 27-member European Union.

* Key trading partners without a deal so far include Canada, Australia and India.
