B402, It's not what the WTO thinks, the rules are part of the rules-based international order which was agreed on by the US. Rules which helped make America so powerful before Trump came along.

It's not at all surprising now that you yourself have confirmed your insincerity regarding costs to the common American family to learn you also don't give a damn about previously agreed upon international rules. Rules-based order, naw, says Trump. I don't care either, says you.

As for the exemptions/exceptions you refer to "Exceptions were made with Japan, the UK and the EU to meet some of their needs" have you got a link, all i can find are exemptions Trump has eliminated ..
