#288715 RE: SilkRoad #288713

I get the frustration—KBLB can feel like a team that’s always “almost there.” Biotech’s a wild ride with delays baked into the process, but KBLB’s regular updates keep us in the loop, which is huge for staying confident even if timelines slip.

Here’s why I’m still pumped about KBLB, hitting your points:
• 2 Metric Ton Goal for 2025: You nailed it calling out the December video’s multi-ton hype. The 2-ton target isn’t a lock—biotech’s too unpredictable for that. But KBLB hit over 1,200 lbs in 2024 and topped that in one early 2025 batch. Their new 25-ton-capacity facility and diapausing system give them a shot at 2 tons by December, even if it’s not guaranteed.

• “0 Tons, 0 Sales”: Not quite zero—they’ve stockpiled hundreds of kilos in Q1 2025, and they’re lined up to deliver to three global brands. Sales are close, even if biotech keeps throwing up roadblocks

• Losing Team Vibe: feels like it, but KBLB’s racked up wins this year: lab-to-field transition for three strain, a government deal closing this month, Cambodia license , and $10M funding
updates prove they’re pushing hard, even if biotech’s delays can be soul crushing . With a 240% stock run since last year and big contracts looming, the upside’s way too good to lose patience now.

So you're saying.......

"Kraig still hasn't sold a piece of silk"

And most likely won't in 2025 either

I disagree with you. What makes you think they have 0 silk made? They have already publicly announced that they have 1/3 of the silk made for the first delivery. My best guesstimate is that the customer needs at least 5-6 Metric Tons of silk. That means that 1.7 to 2.0 Metric tons have already been made.
