They have produced silk cocoons. But KBLB has yet to achieve a metric ton of silk or the minimum amount required that they stated they need to make for their first real sale. I have no idea what they have or have not made in 2025. Clearly they haven’t made, reeled, knitted, or woven enough of anything to sell yet. Hopefully their new plan works and multi-ton production becomes reality and leads to $ales revenue.
As for your comment:
”That means that 1.7 to 2.0 Metric tons have already been made.”
I am 100% sure that if they had made a metric ton of silk cocoons they would have PR’d that. And given the countrywide mulberry leaf challenge I posted about, plus the past production numbers, the switching over to the new strains, and the diapausing plan, it is almost a guarantee they haven’t produced a metric ton of cocoons yet. I’d like to be wrong.
At some point, when they finally get rolling, they will announce their first metric ton produced. And that will be The Day of Kong Glory — the first metric ton produced. The Day of Kong Heaven will arrive when sales revenue is finally achieved. Then it will be time for everyone to get on board the Kong cra$y train.
