SDL, in theory, your assumptions, if played out, appear to be reasonable, but have you been following today's news? NOVO has its hands full with slowing earnings and a new CEO. It will take a while for NOVO to gain its footing or until the FDA comes down on the GLP-1 compounders.
Honestly, I would hope there is some grand master plan that Alex Denner is focused on. However, I am disgusted by the botched share buyback plan that never happened. Some hint from management that they have a strategic plan to develop the one-a-day version of Vascepa. All of the past managements of Amarin have taken a great drug and laid it to waste. When Marzac was going after the fraud management would not back him. How more stupid could management at the time have been. China's approval of Vascep seems to never gain any traction...The same for the rest of the world. If Denner were to have any confidence in this company he would increase the stake held by Sarissa and then initiate a share buyback program. Until management makes some concrete moves to show confidence in this company the share price will simply languish. Why has management not stepped up to buy shares with their own money? Until they do I will not get excited about anything AMRN says or does.
