Good morning Paulee, and thanks for your post as it prompted me to do some DD on what was inside Perplexity's outcome. Appreciate the links as well, as they are a key to understanding validity or lack thereof for that AI search.
The links posted from many of the Perplexity's search don't work, and I am disappointed at the quality of its search breath links. Links do work for the magazines, but not really the yahoo finances and others. What is funny (sarcasm intended), is no direct links to LWLG's website, only some PRs via secondary sources. I also noticed this search had 3 direct links, interestingly, to the NLM Photonics website, so any and all information they post on their website (which appears promotional and showy imho). Furthermore, I noticed that most if not all of the Perplexity listed words in quote below interestingly matches up near 100% to the NLM Photonics website link of similar list attributes (see this NLM website link https://www.nlmphotonics.com/technology/ ). This clearly creates a bias in NLM's favor for some areas, and why these kinds of AI searches can be confusing/biased for truly showing a good factual side-by-side comparison of specialized engineering/performance results. Granted a lot of Lightwave's additional performance results may be kept secret, however Lightwave is now providing significant key industry performance metrics needed as proof to Tier-1's that they are ready for Phase 3 and then Phase 4 to commercial launch in 2027 (NLM not so much..). The Lightwave's recent Telcordia 2-part PR was kick ass, and hopefully the kick will be much more richly described on Yves hosting of Update Call on Thursday, July 31, 2025, webcast at 4:30pm Eastern Time via the Investor Relations section of the Company's website at www.lightwavelogic.com (see this PR link just below, which is direct link to ACCESS Newswire that Lightwave uses on their website PR page).
Cryogenic and Quantum Photonics With proven cryo-compatibility, Selerion-HTX is preferred in: Application Area Selerion-HTX Advantage Co-packaged optics, data centres High-temp stability, >120°C, long-term reliability Satellite & harsh environments Thermal cycling resilience, storage/operation reliability Quantum & cryogenic photonics Cryogenic operational compatibility Telecom/infra with long lifespan Thermoset durability, decade-plus projected stability Silicon photonics manufacturing Drop-in compatibility, process ruggedness In contrast, while Perkinamine’s strengths are evident in bandwidth and extreme EO activity, Selerion-HTX’s stability, manufacturability, and extreme environment robustness make it the preferred choice for mission-critical deployments, long operational lifespans, and environments where reliability cannot be compromised.
