Yeah, how about coinciding with announcement of submission?

AVXL did not announce the filing of the submission--only the acceptance was announced on December 23, 2024. If AVXL had filed a Form S-3 in January 2025 or later in 2025, the dilution overhang threat would have been present all this time--not something you want. AND...the stock price was below $9 almost all of the time up until June 2025--not exactly when you want to do a financing. Filing the shelf earlier would have gained AVXL absolutely nothing. It is much better for AVXL to have filed the shelf later into the CHMP timetable when there is more demand for the stock as the odds for regulatory approval increase.
