barnstormer, I can tell you from having been in the newspaper business, that no company wants to be sued.They don't even want a BS suit that is obviously totally BS. That's because it steals time, money and energy away from what you are doing, and most companies don't have an excess of those things. It also puts bad news about your company in headlines. How many people actually read the article and judge for themselves if it holds any truth?
It is far safer to be silent. I remember back in 2014-15-16 when every time Linda put out a positive PR, a certain bad reporter literally twisted the headline around and made it into bad news for the company. Total bogus!
I say: Let her be silent...until the really, really good news hits.
