I'm not arguing regarding the need for silence; however I would note that in one of the emails reported to have been recently received from the MHRA, the writer responded to the request for information by stating it was up to the company to decide what they chose to release. So, is there some latitude? That question aside, I do know I were in Powers position, I would have at least approached the MHRA and asked if there was any information that could be released without breaking its rules.
