Appreciate the breakdown — you’re right that geophysics measures properties, not minerals. But when those physical properties correlate with known economic deposits — like at MP — and we’re seeing similar gravity highs and magnetic lows at Colosseum, it’s not blind speculation. It’s targeted inference.


As for the vertical system — fair, dense fluids drop out lower. But you’re assuming a single pulse. What if multiple hydrothermal events injected mineral-rich fluids vertically through breccia pipes at different times and pressures? Not all REE systems behave the same. Gold being present where REEs are suspected could mean earlier fluids left heavier elements at depth and later pulses deposited lighter ones higher up.


We’re in breccia pipes, not a riverbed — vertical plumbing rules apply. That’s why you drill. Not dismiss.
