Good question, while the foundries use ALD today this new version may help protect silicon as well.

Today is about folks understanding the Telcordia testing and the 4th generation ALD protection developed at Lightwave Logic..

Basically, it is a High temperature High Humidity test but the crazy thing is that it was done without the industry standard gold box to protect it from oxygen. They did this by using magic proprietary ALD (hairspray if you would) to protect it.

I bought a Byrna (air powered tear gas paint balls) to carry so I'm legal in all 50 states, ammo is expensive but its not like you shoot it often.
