You might occasionally benefit from being open to listening to people who might have a different point of view. You might learn something. That’s what smart people do.
For the record, I have nothing against Anavex, nor have I ever encouraged anyone to sell their shares. In fact, I am long AVXL. I have never shorted a stock. Certainly not AVXL. I do take issue with Missling’s weak stewardship of the company and I’ve been clear about that. I have said repeatedly that I believe Missling is in over his head, that he has been detrimental to the company’s credibility among top-tier biotech investors, and that he should not be running the company. I have also stated that I believe the board of directors has not fulfilled its fiduciary responsibility to shareholders. I have advocated for Missling being replaced by a credible CEO. If that makes me a FUDster, then I guess I’m a FUDster.
