I do think LP is well aware that any announcement opens the door not just to retail excitement but also to coordinated suppression tactics. We’ve seen it before. Price rises, they flood it with synthetic pressure, spoofing, panic triggers, then cover and reload at higher volume.
So yes, controlling the moment may not just be about when to announce but how. That includes who gets briefed, how distribution happens, and whether institutional actors are already in position to counterbalance the attack. She may be looking for a window where the regulatory narrative, trading structure, and public messaging are aligned, not just the approval itself.
Is it doable? Probably not in a way that stops all manipulation, but you can change the conditions under which it plays out. You can anchor it to something bigger, distribute the news in layers, or let market structure itself absorb some of the shock before the real run starts.
The move has to be more than just approved. It has to be strategic.
