Evi is probably not totally disliked. The Albanians put up with a lot of "diverse" people. Back in the 1910s and the 1920s, there were a lot of Albanian emigrants in the U.S. One who spent a good part of his life here was Fan Noli, who, like so many Albanians, was very colorful.
He created the Albanian Orthodox Church, and made himself a bishop of it. Noli was also a scholar. He got his B.A. from Harvard, got another degree from the New England Conservatory of Music; and finally, a Ph.D from Boston College. And he wrote poetry. He then returned to Albania and took part in the revolution of the '20s. He died in the U.S. in 1965. Oddly, Enver Hoxha wrote a nice obituary.
He didn't hit it off very well with King Zog, though, as Zog was a rival.
The Saudis? An illegal lobbyist? Do the Kushners do business with other kinds of people? But the island Jared bought is part of Albania, not Kosovo. It is a country on its own. It was once part of Yugoslavia, and Albania also thought it had a claim.
